Maranta leuconeura, also known as the prayer plant, is coveted for its beautiful broad leaves that seem to dance during the day to follow the light and close up at night, resembling praying hands. 

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Keep soil consistently moist - water when soil is about halfway dry.
