The calamansi or calamondin plant is a beautiful plant that produces fragrant, citrus-scented flowers and bears small orange fruit that resemble mini mandarins. It is a hybrid between a kumquat and another citrus (likely a mandarin). It is well-known in the Philippines, where it is predominantly cultivated and used as a culinary staple.
Thrives in direct light, or very bright indirect light. Keep soil evenly moist during active growth periods when temperatures are warm, and allow soil to dry slightly between waterings during cooler, dormant periods.
Sold in nursery pot. Decorative pots sold separately - pictured here in the 7" Revolution pot.
