6" Pineapple Plant

Part of the bromeliad family and related to air plants, this plant is the classic pineapple! Currently fruiting, it will slowly ripen and produce edible fruit. Once fruit is harvested, the top of the fruit can be cut off and replanted to produce a whole new plant.

Thrives in direct light or very bright indirect light. Water when soil is completely dry. As with most bromeliads, water from the top and make sure to wet the leaves and allow water to enter reservoirs within the leaves.
